    KGMCTA Kottayam Unit GB Decisions

    The general body of KGMCTA Kottayam unit was held on 06-10-2010 and the
    following decisions were taken unanimously.
    1. A person entering service with PG qualification should be designated as
    Assistant Professor on joining and as on completing 5 (five) years he/she
    should be promoted as Associate Professor.
    2. A person entering service with out PG qualification should be designated as
    Assistant Professor from the date of aquiring a PG degree and on
    completion of 3 (three) years after PG with a total service of 8 (Eight)
    years should be promoted as Associate Professor.
    3. Existing seniority as on 10-09-2009(date of first Pay Revision Order) should
    be protected while considering professorship among the eligble candidates.
    4. These benefits should be applicable to all those who are in service with
    retrospective effect ( from the date of joining).
