Task

Based on your specific project charter and management plan you will have an agreement with your client about the
functionality available and demonstrable at this point in the project. Your project will be assessed on having
achieved these agreed goals. This will be done by an inspection of a prototype and a submission of a test document
detailing the tests you have performed so far and the obtained results.

Rationale

You are now almost half way through the session. At this stage some basic functionality of your project should be
working. You will demonstrate to your client the current state of your project based on the agreed schedule and
milestones. You also have to show what testing you have performed so far to verify your implementation.

Marking criteria

Marks will be awarded based on:

• how much of the agreed functionality up to this point has been successfully implemented and tested;
• the type and number of tests performed to verify the implementation up to the current point.

Requirements

Full marks will be awarded for high accuracy and excellent descriptions. Satisfactory answers will score up to 75%
of the allocated marks. Deductions will be made for major omissions, errors and over use of quotes. Poor
referencing will result in deductions to the total assignment mark.
