Dear Station Manager:

Harry Wilson, the Republican and Conservative Party candidate for New York State Comptroller
has been running ads on your station that are patently false and defamatory, and we write to urge
you to immediately cease airing them.  Despite the fact that the NYS Attorney General’s office
has unequivocally stated that Comptroller Tom DiNapoli has committed no wrongdoing and is
not under any investigation, Wilson’s ads erroneously allege that Comptroller DiNapoli is “under
investigation.” 

As you are aware, your station has a responsibility to air only truthful ads, and may be liable for
those that are false and defamatory.
