As a conductor of system analysis, what must be
done before and during identification and analyzation
of the problem?

 Before anything else, system analysis starts with

project initiation. There must be someone, maybe an
individual or a company, who would request/ask a
group of Engineer’s to create a system for him/them.
After that, there will be a conversation regarding the
terms and conditions of the project. If everything is
arranged, then system analysis takes place.
System analysis is done by system analysts. They gather
all possible data that could help the Software Engineers
in the development of the project. This includes the
identification of all the requirements, such as the
different processes that will be used in the project, and
the different sets of the inputs and outputs as required
by the owner and the user. Also, part of system analysis
is the identification of the user. It is important for the
developers to know who will be the users of the system
for them to meet their requirements. Through these
information, they will find out the feasibility of the
project. Once this is proven, then development will take
place. Of course, everything should be documented.
What are the things
needed in gathering data?

 Basically, the first thing needed in gathering

data is the existing system. The system analysts
would analyze this old system to know how it
can be developed to a new one. Everything
used in the old system will also be used in the
development and analysis of the new system.
What should be considered in
evaluating customer
requirements?

 The user is an essential element of the

analysis. Everything should be based on
what they like and what the owner likes.
In other words, there is a need for
analysis of their requirements and needs.
How do you conduct
quality assurance?

 By continuous communication with the

users and the owner itself. This is to
verify all things out to make sure that
what the group is doing is in accordance
to what they need.
