Green computing or green IT, refers to
environmentally sustainable computing or
IT.

Itis "the study and practice of designing,

manufacturing, using, and disposing of
computers, servers, and associated
subsystems”.
 CSR activities
Making the employees aware of the new
practices.
Install Power management Programs.
Switch your computer off when you're not
using it.
Promote paper less activity in the
organisation.
Refill Ink-jet cartridges
Switch off Cable Modems, Routers and
Wifi Access Points when not in use /
overnight
Using laptops more than Desktops.
Encourage E-waste recycling
Donate old Computers to NGO’s and
CO’s after Refurbishing.
Motivation Plan
Setting up incentive or bonus packages
for employees on the basis of evaluation
of the plan.
Encouraging view points of employees
from bottom - top management.
