Countries and Nationalities

We can express nationality with an adjective or a noun in


English. For example, “I’m Scottish” or “I’m a Scot.” Sometimes
the noun and the adjective are the same.
To talk about the people of a country sometimes we use the
plural of the noun and sometimes we use the adjective with
“the”. For example, “the Scots”, but “the Chinese.”
Use a dictionary to complete the table.
