Jack is 92 and I (Jean) am 90. We are life-long Democrats and Life Members of the Farmingdale Jewish Center (now Farmingdale- Wantagh). I am a retired second grade teacher, from Plainview-Old Bethpage and Jack, known throughout Long Island as, “Mr. Jack,” is the retired owner of Camp Monchatea, which used to be in Farmingdale. We were both born and raised in Brooklyn and have lived on Long Island for more than sixty years. This November, G-D Willing, we will celebrate our 70" Anniversary. We are writing this letter on behalf of our Grandson, LEE ZELDIN. As you must know, LEE is running to be your next State Senator. LEE had his Bar Mitzvah at B’nai Israel, in Oakdale, where he is currently a member. Even though Lee is a Republican, we both fully support his candidacy. He learned to be a financial conservative from his father, our Son David. He is the only Republican we have ever supported, not just because he is our Grandson, but because he is a wonderful human being and a good Jew! There are not enough Jewish Republicans, in fact, there are very few. This is a very important reason for you to join us and support LEE ZELDIN. In addition to being a wonderful person, Lee is a Patriot, Veteran and Army Reservist. As life long New York residents, we can tell you that we need a man of his character and ethical standards in our State Government.
