Direction: Cryptic

An old man once sat upon a mount in search of clarity,

Searching in silence avoiding prejudice and disparity,
The clue to his search’s end would be manifested fluidity,
But first he needed to understand the darkness of mans’ stupidity,

If you have the potential to be then why don’t you become,

Instead of saying that’s not for me it’s only attainable for some,
If the spark is there then why don’t you fan the flame?
Instead all I see you do is complain and assign blame.

If you have the potential to be why not nurture the seed?

Structure your mental attitude to be in accordance with what you need,
Attain the paradigm shift, the focal orbiting of the mind’s eye,
All is chaos awaiting an order to realignment a calling to comply.

Modern sages search for them selves as a symbol of wisdom and maturity,
But this is you looking at yourself looking for yourself self. Do you see the futility?
I say be yourself, understand your blacks and whites, and refine all the grays,
Let your potential, be your eternal ambition to become, so the old man says.

There’s a place you always find your self no matter what you do,
And maybe, in the sense of positioning, that’s supposed to be a clue,
A telling of where you’re meant to be, or the anchor from which you’re meant to rise,
Either way the prerequisite for higher levels needs inquisitive closure of present ties.

If you have the potential to be, then why don’t you become,
A continual attainment in tune with life’s hum,
If the spark is there, why not fan the flame,
Because the fire within each of us, is one and the same.
