    RE: AMENDMENT OF THE REVISED RULE ON SUMMARY PROCEDURE

    RESOLUTION

    Acting on the proposal of the Committee on Revision of the Rules of Court, the
    Court Resolved to AMEND Section 1.A(2) of the Revised Rule on Summary
    Procedure as follows:

    "2 All other cases, except probate proceedings, where the


    total amount of the plaintiff's claim does not exceed one
    hundred thousand pesos (P100,000.00) or two hundred
    thousand pesos (P200,000.00) in Metropolitan Manila,
    exclusive of interest and costs."

    The amendment shall take effect on November 25, 2002 following the
    publication of this Resolution in a newspaper of general circulation.
