I think that two examples of written communication that are used in today’s business world would be

email and presentations/slideshows.

I think that email is a very common method of sending not only a quick note to a coworker, but can also
be used to send a longer or more formal document as an attachment. Email can also be used to quickly
send an important communication to everyone in the company regardless to where they might be
located geographically.

The other communication I think is commonly used today is a presentation or slideshow. These days,
instead of someone giving a presentation by basically just reading from note cards, they can also provide
more useful information by also including pictures, graphs, and video using a software package such as
Microsoft PowerPoint.
