The Abyss is a tale about a Yeti warrior, a monk and two poets and their quest, their search for their roots and their lives
and their journey to realizing the final truth. The Abyss - takes us on a journey through two phases of time running parallel
to each other as the story unfolds.The yeti warrior is wandering the salt plains looking for the tree of life, so he can save
his father's soul from dying, he believes hears the voice of a monk who guides him through the desert and the plains to the
tree of life. A young school girl faintly perceives the battle between her parents, she has been shunted from city to city and
learns that her father has been driven away by others as he is a theater artist, full of talent but not too successful. On falling
severely ill, he rings his wife who bluntly refuses his request.The girl grows up pining for a fther's love that she vaguely
remembers. She pours her powerful emotions into poetry and emerges as a power to reckon with. She meets an older poet
who leads an empty life, devoid of all encumbrances -and imagines his wisdom flowing into hers. The young poet with
ancient widom emerges, tranformed and able to transform others...
