INDIA - Gone are those days, when one had to wait in
long queues for any financial transaction in a bank.
Today, banking in India has transformed into a great

Today, ICICI Bank is India's second-largest bank with
total assets of about Rs. 2,513.89 bn (US$ 56.3 bn) as of
March 31, 2006. With a network of about 614 branches
and extension counters and over 2,200 ATMs, it offers a
wide range of banking products and financial services to
corporate and retail customers making it the most
valuable bank in India in terms of market capitalization.
Partnering ICICI
Partnering ICICI in its expansion and focus on customer
service excellence is Cummins Power Generation. ICICI
Bank purchased the first Cummins genset (NTC 495 /
125 kVA) for its branch located at Raheja Tower,
Bangalore in the year 1994. A lot has changed since
then. Today, Cummins is the biggest supplier to ICICI for
its power back-up requirements. With over 300
Cummins genset installations, 80% of the Bank's power
back-up requirements are taken care by Cummins and
channel partner - Jaksons Ltd. The 25 - 100 kVA range
of gensets from Cummins' Low Horsepower product-line
offer prime power not only to the Bank's numerous
home loan and retail branches but also to its call centers
located across the Country.
Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC)
Cummins' long term association with the Bank has
resulted in an extended partnership, having established
an exclusive Comprehensive Annual Maintenance

Cummins gensets offer prime power not only to the Bank's
numerous home loan and retail branches but also to its call centers
located across the Country
Contract (CAMC) with Cummins Sales & Service (CS&S),
the Company's Distributor Business Unit. CS&S
engineers and technicians ensure an uptime of 95% for
not only all Cummins gensets, but also all non-Cummins
gensets owned by the Bank as part of this exclusive
service contract. Moreover, in order to offer best-in-class
service portfolio, an MIS is shared every quarter which
gives a detailed report of each service visit made during
the quarter. This service report is available online and can
be accessed at any time by the Bank's management.
