Predictions, Quick decisions, and
Promises with Will
• Use will to make predictions or guesses
about the future.
Electric cars will become popular in the next
years.
Use will to express a quick decision made at
the time of speaking.

• In statements with I, Will is often

used to express a promise.
A:Cris, please clean your room.
B: I’ll do it later, Mom. I promise.
