Six Degrees of Separation Critique

The actress Ouissa used her voice to defend Paul, even though everyone accused

him and he had done so wrong. The actress used her body language as if she was protecting

Paul from any danger even from her husband’s anger. She made the choice to stand by

Paul’s side and to be with him and take care of him, while he’s in jail. She cared more for

Paul then for her own children. Ouissa was married to Flan, but she doesn’t really love him.

She was starting to care more for Paul. Ouissa’s body language and voice was sophisticated

and elegant, with Paul she’s sweet and caring. Her choices weren’t successful because it’s

predicted that Paul killed himself while he was in jail. I think the production was really good,

the actors and actresses were very professional and they looked like they know what they

were doing. I didn’t really understand the nude scene in the play; I thought it was

unnecessary but kind of funny. That actor had guts to go in front of an audience completely

naked. I also liked how the actors that played the rich people they acted and talked the way

those sophisticated New York rich people would talk. When they had the scenes in the

house, they would always have a glass of something in their hand also the actually ate the
food in the scene. The actors looked like they wanted to throw it up and then they would

say that it was really good and kept on eating it like it was the best food in the world.
