Percentally

Percentally (iPhone, iPod touch) is a data collection tool for tracking progress on goals. Single tally and

percentage based tallies are displayed, and export options are built-in.

Collecting data
Tap the first folder tallying page. to open the

Tap the right arrow to view the other toolbar. Then, tap Edit to reorder or delete tallies. After that, tap copy to select data for exporting.

Tap Select All Tallies Copy . To collect data, tap the green number for successes (aka correct), and the red number for total (aka incorrect). To zero the tallies, tap undo .

, then tap

Tap the plus to create a percentally. Add a title and notes , then choose colors for the numbers and tally background. Next, tap Done .

Tap Clipboard to later paste the data. Exit Percentally by tapping the devices home button, then paste the data in another app such as Notes. Double tap in the other app, then select Paste. Return to Percentally for configuring options.

Options
Tap your new percentally to tally successes and total for a percentage. Tap options to configure clicking sounds and tally colors. Select Diff to achieve different sounds for tallying successes and total. Then, tap the tally colors to create a default for adding new tallies. Return to the tallying screen, then add a percentally and tally to see the new configurations.

Typ-o
Typ-o (iPhone, iPod touch, iPad) is a word prediction tool to facilitate the writing process. Text-to-speech and

export options are built-in.

Typing a message
Tap the screen to type .

Deleting a message
To delete the message, tap the trash can . Then, tap Delete note to confirm.

Begin typing a message such as I want to pl in the message window . Notice the list of choices for word prediction as each word is typed. To see more choices swipe from the bottom of the list to the top. At anytime, tap speak to hear a choice spoken with text-tospeech. Once a message has been completed (e.g., I want to play.), tap the main speak button . The entire message will be spoken aloud.

Tap the export button to send the message as email or to clipboard. Tap Send to clipboard , then paste the message in another app such as Notes.

are configurable.

Recording a message
In messages , tap the plus add a new message. to

Playing a message
To play your recent message, select it from the list of messages . Then, tap the red circle . Next return to your messages .

Tap in the Name box to add a name for your voice recording.

Tap Settings to edit the Button Color and Tap Feedback .

Type a name , then tap Save . You will be redirected to the previous screen. Select Tap to record .

Select the desired button color . Then, tap Settings and change Tap Feedback . Finally, return to your message.

Tap and hold the red circle as you record your voice. Speak a word or phrase. Test the voice recording by tapping the play button . Then, tap save and done on the next screen.

Tap the circle to play your recorded message.

StoryKit
StoryKit (iPhone, iPod touch) is a storybook creator. Upload your stories privately to the StoryKit web server and email a link to the story.

Creating a book
Tap New Book a story. to begin creating

Tap the record icon , then tap the Record button . When youre done recording, tap Stop , then Play . Tap Edit to arrange your media.

Tap the photos icon your albums.

Move the images to their desired locations. Add other pages as necessary. Then, tap Edit Pages .

Tap Details to further edit and read your book. Select the desired photo (in one of your albums) and center it. Then, tap Choose and tap the text icon .

Reading a book
Type a sentence. Then, tap edit to return to your page. Tap to edit the Title and Author . Then, tap Read to enjoy your book.

Speech with Milo: Verbs


Speech with Milo: Verbs (iPhone, iPod touch, iPad) is based on a mouse who performs actions to build action word vocabulary. Recorded speech with word and sentence levels are available.

Starting the activity


To begin the activity, tap Go . When youre done with Milo, tap the Home button . Then, tap the Settings button on the home screen.

Settings
Touch Milo to see him perform an action. See the action as you hear and see its associated word. Turn OFF a couple settings including Background music and Written word . Then, tap the Home button .

Tap the Phrase button to hear the action word in a sentence. Tap Next to continue the activity.

Notice that the background music is no longer playing. Touch Milo to see another action performed without the word displayed.

Touch Milo to see and hear the next action word. At anytime, tap Back to return to a previous item .

Tap the Phrase button to hear the action word in a sentence. Finally, to reverse the Settings, tap the Home button , then Settings .

Violet and the Mysterious Black Dog (iPhone, iPod touch, iPad) is an interactive storybook with pop-up animations. Interact with the animations as the recorded speech accompanies the text.

Reading the book


Turn Music Off if you so desire. Then, tap the right arrow to begin the story. Return to a page in the story by tapping the book button . Then, swipe from right to left across the bottom to navigate the pages.

Press the microphone to hear the story read aloud. Then, tap Violets head to see a pop-up of her thoughts.

Proceed with the next page in the story by tapping it .

When youre done with the pop-up, tap it . Turn to the next page by pressing the right arrow .

Continue interacting with Violet during her adventures.

Read/listen to the story and tap any of the images with a yellow outline to see more pop-ups. Tap home to return to the home screen.

iReward
iReward (iPhone, iPod touch, iPad) is a positive reinforcement chart that provides a visual reward for a set of

behaviors performed.

Rewarding positive behaviors


To create a reward, tap New .

In the boxes, type the reward and behavior . Then, using the slider bar , adjust the number of behaviors required to receive the reward. Finally, tap Save .

From the list of rewards, select yours . iReward has three ways to get images: taking a picture (with iPhone/iPod touch 4th gen.), searching the Internet, and selecting a picture from your photo albums. Begin with searching for an image (must have Wi-Fi turned ON in device settings). Tap the stars to indicate a behavior was performed. Once all five stars are tapped, provide the reward. Tap Save to return to your rewards.

Tap in the box to type a query (e.g., video game). Then, tap Search . Select back to try another way of retrieving images.

Settings
Tap Select Picture to search your photo albums. Pick the desired photo album and picture. Center the image, then tap Choose . Tap Settings . Spin the wheel to change the items used for rewarding behaviors.Then, turn Voice Praise OFF by tapping next to ON . Create another reward to view the changed settings.

Cookie Doodle
Cookie Doodle (iPhone, iPod touch, iPad) is a fun way to make and eat virtual cookies. The best part is that the

cookies are 0 calories!

Making a cookie
To make a cookie from scratch, tap Make Dough .

Roll the dough by moving the rolling pin with your finger in a circular motion.

Then, select a cookie recipe such as Chocolate Chip . Note that you can view more recipes by swiping across the selections from the right to left.

Tap a category of cookie cutters such as Animals . Then, choose a cookie cutter such as a dog .

Drag the ingredients (e.g., flour, eggs) to the center of the bowl . Follow any prompts for adding ingredients such as cutting the butter by swiping up and down the screen.

Tap in the middle of the cookie cutter to get a dog cutout. Next, tap the oven to bake the cookie.

Eating a cookie
Mix the ingredients in the bowl by moving your finger in a circular motion. Before eating your cookie, decorate it with frosting, piping, letters, sprinkles, and candies. Finally, tap eat to gobble up the cookie. Tap Menu for Options including New Cookie.

iWriteWords
iWriteWords (iPhone, iPod touch, iPad) teaches letter/number formation in handwriting. Follow the numbered

prompts to write the letters or numbers.

Writing practice
Tap the lowercase activity to practice writing words in lowercase letters.

Settings
Push the devices home button to exit iWriteWords. Then, go to the home screen and tap Settings .

Trace the letters one part at a time. Begin by dragging your finger from the crab to the last number. Finish writing the word, then tap play to watch how you formed your letters.

Scroll down to iWriteWords, then select it .

Once youre done watching the playback, tap the pencil to continue writing. To change activities, tap stop .

Turn Easy Mode OFF by tapping next to ON . Then, turn Reset Game ON . Return to the lowercase activity in iWriteWords to see the reset game, and the precision now required for writing letters/numbers.

Tap the numbers activity to practice writing numerals. When youre done, tap stop .

Flashcards
Tap the Flashcards cloud to practice sounds in words and sentences via a flick album.

Tap the plus sign student.

Choose two decks by first tapping the th cards, then swiping across the screen from right to left. Tap the s cards and the Done button .

Type the students first and/or last name then add a photo by taking or choosing a photo. If you dont add a photo, the childs initials will be used in group scoring. Tap Done . After the student is added, tap on the students name to choose for group scoring during flashcards. Listen to the audio, then tap a students photo/initials when its his/her turn. Hold on a student photo/initials to take notes or to remove. Tap the mic to record speech then stop and play it. Tally (for the sound group) correct with the smile or incorrect with the frown . Flip over the card for a sentence. To finish, tap Done .

Keep the box checked for Shuffle Cards. Then, tap the sound group check marks to deselect middle th and middle s. Finally, tap the Done button to begin the flashcard activity.

Copying and saving scores


Listen to the audio, then tap one of the who ghosted images for group scoring. Up to four students can be added to the group scoring session for flashcards.

Tap a students photo/initials to see his/her scores. You can also add notes in the note box for the student selected. Then, notice that the papers button is for copying scores and the folder is for saving. Tap the folder to save all student scores from the group scoring session.

To view saved scores, tap on a student who was in the recent group scoring session .

ArtikPix has three levels of matching: Easy with 3 pairs of cards, Medium with 6 pairs of cards, and Hard with 10 pairs of cards. Tap Medium .

If necessary, scroll down to see scores for the student in a given time-stamped session. Note that scores are displayed by word/ sentence level and the sound group. Tap back to see Students, then choose another students scores from the session. Finally, tap the home button .

Tap two cards to make a match. After the cards flip, record and play speech , and collect scores for the sound group on the card. Scores are collected for the last card tapped. If a tallying mistake is made, tap the numbers immediately to undo. Complete the game or tap Done . Detailed scoring by sound group (beginning l, beginning j) is summarized on the Nice Job! screen. Tap the folder to save the scores for one student. Choose the student to save scores, then tap the home button .

Matching
On the home screen, tap the Matching cloud to practice sounds in words during a memory game. Then, swipe across the screen from right to left to navigate the decks and select the l and j decks. Tap the Done button to proceed.

Options
On the home screen, tap the gears for Options. Set the Flashcard Autoplay OFF and Scores Sounds OFF . Press the back arrow, then tap the Flashcards cloud on the home screen. Begin the activity with the new configurations.

Tap the sound group check marks to deselect all, except beginning l and beginning j.Tap Done to choose a matching level.
