I am writing to express my interest in full time position and believe that my background skills are good
fit for this position. Currently I am pursuing Masters in Computer Science at University of Southern
California and expected to graduate in December 2010.

I have about three years of professional experience in the area of software development, where I
worked on software product design, development and integration. This gave me valuable experience in
Linux based deployments using WebLogic and Apache servers with database interaction with MySQL
and Oracle. Through the design and implementation of several projects completed in both individual
and group environments, I have become proficient in programming using C, Java, SQL and scripting
languages on various platforms (Windows, Linux).

Currently I’m doing internship at St. Jude Medical where I am working on framework API development
for proprietary Unity Platform which is used to communicate and program artificial pacemaker and
defibrillator implanted in the human body. As part of this work apart from programming, I am getting
experience about various design patterns, writing JUnit tests, code refactoring techniques, software
development practices and processes such as continuous integration, design by contract, test driven
development.

Moreover as mentioned in my resume I have worked on various research projects and used open source
projects in academic environment where I have honed my analytical and problem solving skills while
working on difficult and abstract problems. Additionally I do have an experience of being closely
associated with software development process, which includes documentation, estimation, issue
escalation etc.

I feel that working with your company would help me in extending and applying my knowledge gained
through my professional experience and graduate studies. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank
