Sorcerer’s Apprentice

Jerry Bruckheimer's film The Sorcerer’s Apprentice was released this year and
was reviewed by many people. There are differences between the reviews
done by Matthew Turner (The View London Review) and Alex Zane (The Sun
Review UK).

Both Matthew Turner and Alex Zane recognise the impressive and big budget
special effects used in the movie.

Turner and Zane both agree that the romantic scenes were rushed and the
“romantic subplot is just pure cheesy”.

Turner feels that the “script is frequently funny and the characters themselves
make several witty film references”. While on the other hand Zane says that
the problem with this movie is the script.

Turner recognises the movie as entertaining and pacily directed while Zane
states that “no amount of fireballs or car chases are able to stop the whole
thing being really boring”.

Turner rates it three out of three while Zane gives it two stars out of five.

Turner and Zane disagree with a lot of points of this movie probably because
Zane prefers a movie with a lot more action in it, while Turner prefers a movie
with a slow drama-type movie.
