Food Safety in Manufacturing
 New EU legislation HACCP was introduced into the UK In 2006.
HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) was originally
introduced to control all levels of food safety from producing the
food to consumers eating this food. These new legislations
warranted new food training standards and the old basic food
hygiene training was deemed out of date and is now being
combined with HACCP to form New Food Safety Training
Standards known as Food Safety Training Level 1 and 2.
