3. What other physical; exam findings would you like to elicit to diagnose the patient

To rule out:

 Test for Rebound Tenderness/ Rovsings sign/ Direct tenderness – APPENDICITIS


 Murphy’s sign- Cholecytitis
 Petechial rash- Tourniquet test

5. Interpretation of Lab Results:

CBC:

 Hb- 12, decreased (males: 14-18)


 Hct-0.45, normal ( males: 0.40—0.54)
 WBC- 10, normal (4.3-10.8)
 Seg- 45%, decreased (54-62%)
 Lympho- 55%, increased (25-33%)
 PLt- 30, decreased (150-450)

Blood Chem:

 FBS- 80, normal (70-110)


 Crea- 1.0, normal (0.8-2)
 Na- 148, slightly increased ( 135-145)
 K- 5.0, normal (3.5-5.5)
 SGPT- 40, increased (5-35)

Sp. Gravity: 1.030, normal ( 1.002-1.030)

Other Lab Tests:

 PT/PTT- prolonged
 BT- prolonged
 ELISA (-enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) for anti-dengue antibodies.
