Wendy Wagoner named outstanding alumnus at Spalding University

Wendy Wagoner, Manager of Performance and Marketing, has received Spalding University’s
Outstanding Alumnus Award. The annual award, established in 2004,
honors alumni selected by faculty members of the College of Business
and Communication. Wagoner received the honor at the college’s
recognition ceremony earlier this month.

“I am very humbled and honored to be recognized by such a talented

group of individuals,” said Wagoner. “And I am deeply thankful to each
of them for selecting me for this award.” 

Wagoner graduated from Spalding with a bachelor’s degree in business

administration and a master’s degree in business communication. She
has remained active in the Spalding community serving on a number of
boards, including the Presidential Search Committee, over the past 10
years. Wagoner is in her fifth term as chair of the Spalding Alumni
Board. In this position, she is responsible for aligning board activities
and contributions with the university’s mission, vision and strategic
plan; overseeing alumni events, communications, fundraising and
membership; and fulfilling the role of liaison between alumni and the
university.

Wagoner has been with the company since September 1982.
