 Monitor Service: BAM Service , BAM Service monitors the BAM M
anager. It can also restart the BAM.
 Process Management : BAM Manager , is a function management
module for the software of the whole equipment. It manages other s
ervice processing modules and monitors their running state.

Setting BAM Hard Disk in RAID 1 Mode

 Integrated Lights-Out press [F8] to configure

Press <F8> to run the Option ROM Configuration for Arrays Utility
Press <ESC> to skip configuration and continue

The following information means setting correct

Check Partitions and Capability of Hard Disk

 Partition capacity of logical drive is assigned with the following :

 Drive C: 6 GB, install operating system (Windows 2000 Ser


ver) and database management software (SQL Server 200
0).
 Drive D: 15 GB, install BAM server software and storing the
system databases.
 Drive E: 3 GB, store the log files of the databases.
 Drive F: remain space (about 10.3 GB), mainly used for bac
king up system databases, and registry information.

Attention: The File system format should be NTFS.

It is the initial BAM database file. By replacing the present file with this file,
F:\CSOFTX3000\InitialDbBkp.dat
BAM database state is restored to initial state.

 System will automatically backup BAM Database and Register
