HOUSTON TEXANS @ INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

Indy QB Peyton Manning led the Colts to an easy victory over the
Houston Texans at home Monday night. Even with several of the
team’s keey players out with injuries, Manning and a cast of regulars
and some new faces made a mockery of Matt Schaub and the Texans,
capitalizing on several mistakes, including an INT that was returned
for a TD by Colt’s Kelvin Hayden at the start of the 2nd QTR. Another
TD in the first few minutes of the 3rd QTR gave the Colts a 24 to 3
lead, but Schaub and the Texans battled back to within 10 points of
the lead by the beginning of the 4th. A second Adam Vinatieri FG
halfway through the 4th QTR clinched the lead for the Colts.
Vinatieri also had his longest FG of the season so far, a 48 yd bullet
through the uprights with less than a minute in the first half.

The noise levels in the stadium were obviously a problem for Schaub,
and 2 turnovers did nothing to help them against the elite Manning
and his machine of an offense.
The Texans have never beaten the Colts in Indianapolis.
