Bananas are rich in magnesium which reduces anxiety and helps you to get a

good night’s sleep. Adding bananas to your diet will lower your stress level which
will put you in a better mood. Bananas are also good for preventing kidney
stones and lowering your blood pressure.

WALNUTS

Selenium is supposed to be a mood enhancer. Brazilian walnuts are high in


selenium and is said to increase the level of serotonin.  Serotonin acts as a mild
tranquilizer and has positive effects on a person’s mood. Seafood and whole
wheat bread also good sources of selenium. Two walnuts per day are enough to
raise the levels of serotonin.
TURKEY

Turkey is naturally low in fat and high in protein. The consumption of turkey
releases hormones that increase motivation and heightens reflexes.  It is also a
good source of Zinc, potassium, and B vitamins.

ORANGES

Drinking orange juice has many benefits on the human body. It can lower the
symptoms of nervousness and help relieve depression. Oranges are a great anti-
oxidant which lowers cholesterol and reduces stress levels.
 CHOCOLATE

Many people think of chocolate as just something to satisfy a craving, but there
are medical reasons for the satisfaction of consuming chocolate. The sugar and
caffeine can act as stimulants and heighten a person’s awareness. The
carbohydrates can also have a positive effect on one’s mental state. It is also
thought that the psychological effect of satisfying a need for sweets could
contribute to the uplifting mental state.
