0.74 in HG

From above calculation, pressure drop across inlet piping to individual exchanger is very close.

Total pressure drop across main condenser including inlet piping is 2.5 in Hg(exchanger pressure drop is 1.76 in HG) as compared to 1.8 in HG for secondary condenser.

This minor pressure drop can be adjusted through ball valve on vapor inlet piping to secondary condenser.

*** Use sea/legs with anti syphon line to prevent vapor entrainment

Seal Leg for condenser drain:

Though equalization lines will be installed, seal legs are designed for worst case scenarion if vent valves are blocked.

2. Secondary condenser

Secondary condenser pressure drop is less than main condenser.

Install 2.5 ft seal leg to prevent vapor entrainment for both condensers with 114" anti syphon line connected to vapor equalization line.
