Intro: Psalm 8:4 “What is man, that thou art

mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou
visitest him?”

1)David knew a secret about God that few did at that

time!

2)David knew that although God create all things, He

still loves to visit His people!

3) Think about how blessed you are when someone

visits you that you love and care for! - Now think
about the moment that Jesus visited you and saved
you and redeemed you!

4) He wants to visit you again! Isnt that what we all

really need?

5 Things that God does when He
visits:

FIRST – When He comes He removes

barreneness!

Gen. 21:1 “ And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said,

and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.”

 There are many things that can cause barreness!

 Jesus comes to remove those areas of our life that
are unfruitful!
 God visits us to examine His fruit, His investment
in us!

SECOND – He takes away your affliction!

Ex. 4:31 “ And the people believed: and when they heard
that the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that
He had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed
their heads and worshipped.

(Isa 53:4) Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses,
weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and
pains [of punishment],

THIRD – He brings fresh bread! –

Ruth 1:6 “ Then she arose with her daughters in law,

that she might return from the country of Moab: for she
had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had
visited his people in giving them bread.

 Revelation knowledge

FOURTH – He brings the balm of Gilead for our

heart issues!

Psalm 17:3 “ Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast

visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find
nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not
transgress.”

FIFTH – He comes to reveal Hs glory to us again!

Luke 7:14 And he came and touched the bier: and they
that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say
unto thee, Arise. And he that was dead sat up, and began
to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.
And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God,
saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and,
That God hath visited his people.
