Amusing Adaptations

Materials- Drawing paper, dice, colored pencils

1) Roll your dice once. Whatever number you rolled is your animal
from the chart below. Roll your dice again, whatever number you
rolled is your animal’s adaptation.
ANIMAL ADAPTATION

1= alligator 1= purple polka dots

2= monkey 2= webbed feet

3= dog 3= thick fur

4= spider 4= poisonous scales

5= bear 5= breathes fire

6= snake 6= all white coloring

Once you have determined your NEW animal:

1) Draw its picture
2) Write down the following things about your animal;
a. Give it a genus and species name
b. What does it eat? Why? (Carnivore, herbivore, or omnivore?)
c. Where does its habitat look like? Why?
d. Why does it have that adaptation?
