METROBUS SPECIAL SERVICE DAYS

On minor holidays and certain other days, Metrobus ridership is much lower
than on a regular weekday  

To  provide buses where they are needed, but contain costs, Metrobus will
be using Special Service Day Schedules on the following days in 2011 and 2012:

Columbus Day
Veterans Day
Day after Thanksgiving
Weekdays between Christmas and New Years Day
Martin Luther King Day
Presidents Day

Please see attachment titled "All Lines" for  the type of service offered
 on every Metrobus route on Special Days.

Some routes will have a regular weekday or regular Saturday schedule.

Use the normal route timetables for routes on Weekday or Saturday schedules

Reduced Weekday Schedule means a route will have fewer trips than
a normal weekday.  Customers may have a slightly longer wait for their bus, 
but may not notice any difference in service

Saturday Plus Schedule routes will run on a Saturday schedule, with extra trips where needed.
