Today in Media, I borrowed a

‘Sony dslr-a230’ camera as I

would be using it the follow day to
take pictures of Levi for the
Magazine advert.

As this was my first time

using this camera, I took
some practice pictures
having a fiddle around
with the different effects.
•Here are some images where I used the
most well known option : AUTO

We •canWe cansee, by using this

already
camera we get a much clearer image
than we would with a normal digital
camera.
• Here I used an effect called ‘ Sports Action’ to try and get an image of the
person jumping in the air without the image being blurred. This effect shoots
fast motion at higher shutter speeds.

As you can see the images were blurry

so we had to have another fiddle
around with the ‘Aperture Priority’ and
see whether this would have an effect
on it.
We found it did make the image less
blurred.
I also experimented changing
the brightness
• In these images we can see
how the use of flash and the
brightness levels down gets
a dark effect where hardly
anything can be seen.
• In these images you can see the
effect of using zoom in and out
• Here are some photos which were taking
during the photo-shoot for practice.
