FAMILIARIZATION OF LABORATORY EQUIPMENT

I. OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this experiment students will be able to identify the uses
and functions of the different laboratory equipment and devices used in the different
experiments in Computer Organization.

II. EQUIPMENT

DC Power Supply
DC Voltmeter (VOM)
Solderless Breadboard
Logic Probe
Resistors
Integrated Circuits
Light Emitting Diode (LED)
Alligator Clips
Connecting Wires
Cutter
Pliers

III. RESEARCH WORK

Make a research work on the above mentioned equipment. You must be able
to draw and discuss their uses and functions. Give details on how to use this
equipment. Make some precautionary measures and techniques in handling this
equipment.
