They say Friendships are accidents that are just waiting to happen.

If that is so, then this our beautiful story.

Once upon a time, it happened to me

The sweetest accident that could ever be
Its sweetness is like Saccharin Calcium
And highly reactive as that of Lithium

It’s like Copper Sulfide exposed in air

That causes fire with great flare
It’s a special bond wrapped with affection
Just as how Cadmium gives steel protection

There had been times when I feel all alone

But you stayed with me through the storm
You are my Ferrous Ammonium Acetate
The styptic to my grieves and heartaches

If I want to cry and need a hug

You’ve been my pillow as soft as talc
You make me smile and that’s a plus
You’re my Nitrous Oxide, my laughing gas

All these things, I’m thankful of

A friendship that I could be proud of
It’s like finding Gold in millions of Pyrite
A bright yellow treasure beaming as a light

You put laughter into my days and joy into my heart

Like a Universal Antidote at that
That’s why one thing I promise to thee
Anytime you need a friend, I’ll just be me.
