Thank you to those who helped run and donated books for our Reading Week. All the
events went extremely well.

I hope everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving this week and can enjoy the time with family
and friends. Thanksgiving services will be held Wednesday at 7:00pm and Thursday at
9:00am.

Special Advent services will be held at 7:15 on Thursdays in December. During these
services, devotional messages will focus on preparing ourselves for our Savior’s arrival.

Calendar Notes
• Please return Science Fair forms by this Wednesday.
• We will dismiss at noon this Wednesday. There will be no school Thursday and
Friday. Enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday.
• Friday, December 3rd is a noon dismissal.
• Friday, December 3rd is also midterm for the Second Quarter. Progress Reports
will be sent home the following week.
• Mark your calendars for this winter’s Piano Recital on December 3rd.
• Sunday, December 5th grades 6-8 sing in church at the 8:45 service. We will sing
“Oh Come, Oh Come, Emmanuelle.”

Classroom Notes
• We will not have spelling this week.
• The song for Wednesday is “Oh Come, Oh Come, Emmanuelle.”
• Boys A basketball practices Tuesday this week.
• This week we will begin reading “A Christmas Carol” in Literature.
• Thank you for taking time out of your schedule to meet last week. I hope it
proved to be beneficial.
• Signups will soon go out for helpers with this year’s “Christmas for Kids.” Thank
you to the students who choose to help run this event.
