Long before Indonesia proclaims its independence,Indonesia was a famous island

at around the world.Many big country colonized this land because the richness of the
resources in Indonesia.As one of the colonizer,Netherland come to Indonesia with their
motto(gold,glory,and gospel).They colonized Indonesia 350 years.Tanam paksa is one
of their rules for the society in Indonesia.

When Netherland has finished their colony,Japan come to this land with
Romusha.Romusha is a kind of Japan`s rule to force Indonesians work without any
incentive.Cut Nyak Dien,K.Pattimura,Tuanku Imam Bonjol etc,they are Indonesian
heroes,not only them,but all of our ancestors are the true heroes too.

Now,we could enjoy their sacrifice.Railway tracks in Indonesia is the prove of our
ancestor`s sacrifice.Without any railway tracks,probably it will be difficult for us to go to
the far place in a short time.

As a young generation,we should keep our country from other country`s monopoly.It
will be easy when we have a basic to love Indonesia.

There are some way to love Indonesia:

1.Love Indonesian Products

As an Indonesian,we should be proud to use local products.And even promote local

product to the foreigners.Example:Having an Indonesian product festival.

2.Keep Our Nature

This island has become one of the biggest country who contributes global
warming.Many people do illegal loging in the forests in Indonesia.It is caused some of
the forests was burnt.Start from the smallaction,we can prove our love by:

a.Reboisation

b.Reduce the using of plastic

c.Reuse and recycle

3.Love Indonesian Culture

One of the dalang(wayang player) in Kesunanan Surakarta was from Germany.It can
be the example that many foreigners come to Indonesia to explore Indonesian culture.

When we heard that Malaysia claims some of our culture(batik,reog,tari pendet),our

society was angry and protest.Actually,we don`t need to protest with burning
Malaysia`s national flag,ask the government to stop sending Indonesian workers to
Malaysia etc.
What should we do are introspection,and flash back.Do we appreciete our culture
enough?

Try to learn and keep our culture stay life in our society is the best way to prove our
love.

Appreciete our ancestors sacrifice and love Indonesia is not enough just by
saying “I love Indonesia”,but we have to implement it in our life.
