Steps in Introduction of TPM in an Organization

1. Announcement by Management to all about TPM introduction in the

organization:

Mr. Mhar Tagarro is the head of Commissary Division. He

proposed the 5S in Jelexie.

Memorandum about the meeting.

- A memo about the meeting and the topics signed by the owner.

 Meetings with the entire department head.

- Meetings were organized by the commissary head about the

proposal of 5S plus 1 in the company.

 Brainstorming.

- Sharing thoughts and ideas between the different departmental

head for the introduction and implementation of 5S plus 1

 Planning.
  Proposing to the owner.

 Approval by the owner.

 Announcement of seminars for every department.

STEP 2 - Initial education and propaganda for TPM :

 Seminars- they conducted seminars for every department about

the 5S plus 1.

 Posting about the seminars on their designated bulletin board in

every department.

STEP 3 - Setting up TPM and departmental committees:

Commissary Division is the one that in- charge of the 5s

plus1 headed by Mr. Mhar Tagarro. He is the one evaluating and

checking the 5S plus 1 in every department with the help of every

supervisor.
STEP 4 - Establishing the TPM working system and target:

The focus of their 5S plus 1 is in the production area. Jelexie

is a food manufacturing.

STEP 5 - A master plan for institutionalizing:

Memorandum

- A memorandum about the implementation of 5S plus 1 in the

whole company.

Posting of the memorandum

- Posting of the memorandum and about the steps, importance,

benefits of the 5S plus 1 to an organization.

Regular monitoring.

- Regular monitoring was conducted by the in- charge personnel

for every department if the 5S plus 1was practicing by their

employees.
