* The Commonwealth Games are scheduled to be held from 03.10.2010 to 14.10.2010
in New Delhi and the University will remain closed for the duration of the games. The
shifting of the University Schools of Studies to Dwarka Campus is also scheduled
before the end of the current semester. In view of these requirements summer
vacation of the session 2009-10 and the first semester of session 2010-11 is as in

Note:
1 Vacation for current academic session 2009-10 of University
Schools of Studies is from 24.05.2010 to 02.07.2010. The faculty
is however required to check the answer sheets before
proceeding for vacation or during the vacation period so that
results of end-term examination are declared on time. The
Dean’s may retain any faculty as per requirement especially for
making shifting arrangements.

2. The Summer Vacation 2009-10 of 6 weeks duration during the

period of 6th June to 31st July 2010 for the faculty Members of the
Affiliated Institutions/Centers of Learning and Education for the
concerned Faculty Members may be announced and circulated by
their respective institution under intimation of Director Academic
Affairs.

3. Exact dates of the Summer Vacation 2010-11 of 6 weeks duration

for the faculty Members of the University Schools and of the
Affiliated Institutions/Centers of Learning and Education for the
concerned Faculty Members shall be announced separately.

This Academic Calendar is applicable to all the academic programmes of the

University Schools, Affiliated Institutions, and Centres of Learning and
Education.
