20 - 23 February 2011 · Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia REGISTER NOW! As every well is unique, solution employed in every well intervention needs to b e unique too. Successful use of well intervention technology can reduce time, ri sk, and cost which in turn add value in any projects. Traditionally, well interventions are performed in the mid to late life cycle of a well to enhance production, shut off water, clean out sand, stimulation and r e-perforating, and simple interventions of production logging or slickline opera tions are often included. This workshop will discuss equipment and technologies used in well interventions , and review case studies. The subsequent change in well performance and improve ment of production will be assessed in the session. Brownfield redevelopment and production enhancement will be the key focus of the workshop, but it will cover the range of equipment and technologies available to the industry in order to a chieve measurable and quantitative results. The technology spread to be reviewed and discussed will include, amongst others, the following: Workover Rig/Well Intervention Unit Coiled Tubing Hydraulic Workover Casing Exit/Sidetracks Applied Geoscience Production Logging/ Perforating Well Tractors Stimulation Chemical Treatments Composite/Cement and Chemical Plugs Thru Tubing versus Oncoil
