Automated Testing Analyst

This position is responsible for the following: Providing technical expertise: Within an assigned systems
unit/area, usually as a member of an automation test team or in the design, development, and
maintenance of testing applications. Providing technical expertise on projects or systems issues of a
basic to moderately complexity. Developing relationships and integrate activities with other systems
departments to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts. Assisting and/or
collecting and analyze requirements for small test automation projects. Writing scripts that support
business functional test cases for mainframe and GUI applications. Utilizing best practices in recording,
marking up, coding, and testing automation scripts. Assisting in identify conflicting system integration
issues of a basic to moderate complexity and suggest alternative solutions. Developing and maintaining
good relationships with customers and systems colleagues to meet expected customer service levels.
Assisting in the definition of automation test project scope and objectives of a basic complexity.
Assisting in preparation of detailed specifications of a basic to moderate complexity for development of
automation, to include: analysis, design, code, test, debug and document. Performing Java and/or C
language coding for automation solutions of simple to medium complexity. Providing input on the
status of project efforts, anticipating/identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and
implementing corrective actions. Assisting in the preparation of automation test project plans.
Providing assistance in the support of the technical systems environment; this may include performance
monitoring, issue resolution and specific product support. This position is required to comply with all
