La platja de Riumar, amb Bandera Blava des de l’any 1997, té 1’100 km

d’extensió i està situada al costat del Garxal, una zona d’especial interès
natural, prop de la desembocadura de l’Ebre.
Enfront la platja es troba la urbanització de Riumar, on us podreu
allotjar als xalets o apartaments, als càmpings o bé en un hotel. També
hi trobareu diversos serveis turístics, entre els quals podem destacar
lloguer d’embarcacions i de bicicletes, que us permetran conèixer
l’entorn d’una manera diferent.
A més, a l’igual que a totes les altres zones d’interès de Deltebre, hi
trobareu restaurants on podreu assaborir la cuina típica del Delta.

leisurely physical exercise, adapted to the intensity
of the conditions and in full contact with nature.
The Delta is a completely flat area and therefore
ideal for long walks and cycle rides by the riverbank,
among rice paddies or along long sandy beaches
that provide a better view of the landscape, the
flora, the fauna and traditional activities.
It is also a genuine pleasure to do water
sports such as rowing, canoeing and
sailing on the calm waters of the Ebro,
and surfing, windsurfing, or kite surfing
in the Riumar or El Fangar zone, which
are favoured by different wind
types of diverse intensity.

RIVER CRUISES, BOAT TRIPS
In its last thirty kilometres, the Ebro
flows through the deltaic plain until it reaches
the river mouth. Everyone who visits Deltebre
will have the chance to enjoy the river and to
take guided trips on a tourist vessel or on small
boats to places of special interest such as the
river mouth itself, La Gola de Migjorn, and the
islands of St. Antoni, Buda, Gràcia and Sapinya.
One may also leave Deltebre and take a
trip of approximately one and a half hours
to the river mouth and back again.
A 45-minute trip may also be taken
from the Illa de Buda quayside.
