Little Albert

Little Albert’s reactions were studied and recorded. There was no bias in recording the
baby’s reactions. Albert’s thoughts were not included in the data because those are subject to
change. No one would understand what was going on through Albert’s mind but people can only
guess or imagine what he was thinking.

Bandura’s Bobo Doll

When the children watched the videos, they were observed to see if they would do what
the man did in the videos. The children followed what the man did when they got a reward after
the beating of Bobo. This is one of the best examples to support observational learning because it
was easy to record the children and their actions when they were alone with a Bobo doll. The
children learned from watching the man and imitated what they saw.
