I found out about the job opening for a customer service representative on jobshq.com. I was
impressed to see that your company has placed over 160,000 people into jobs in just the last
year. I am interested in this position and would like to be considered as a potential employee for
the Fargo opening.
I would be a great fit for the position because of my leadership experience with the Legacy
Program at NDSU. As a founding member of the program I was able to develop a variety of
skills including: team leader, team player, critical thinking, problem solving, communication,
professional relationship building, and detail orientation. I also have management experience
through my years as a foreman with Olson-Legatt Roofing, INC. Throughout my time there I
learned to think outside the box, meet deadlines, and manage employees. In addition to my
experience I also have a business management degree from North Dakota State University where
I learned about all the different facets of business and how to work in a professional
environment.
I have great public speaking skills which I have developed through speaking for the Legacy
Program, Triumph Lutheran Brethren Church, and C3 which is a college ministry I lead. I also
have great interpersonal skills due to my natural strengths of Woo, Communication, and
Developer. These are based on the Strengths Quest Program in which I am a Strengths Coach.
My ability as a coach allows me to develop and grow the clients and enable them to apply for
better jobs.
