I was not able to spend quite as much time as I wanted to on

this particular paper. But I have noticed I continue to make
similar mistakes and these are usually simple ones. I need to
visit the writing center to simply learn how to correct these
mistakes. Also, one of your comments was at the very top of
my paper, about mla format, how could I correct this
mistake?

John,
Visiting the WRC is a great idea. And if you have a habit of
making the same mistakes (which most of us do) being
aware of those while you compose is helpful, so keep a list
beside you to remind you what do often do and in your
revision work. focus on eliminating those issues.

As for MLA format, there is a page attached to your general

syllabus to use as a model, so look at that.
