In the early years of my students I would like hone in on their natural abilities, which for
most playground chants is the intervals of mi-sol, and sol-la. There is also a great game
that goes along very well, where you pass a ball around the class acting out the different
words in the song, i.e. “high low.” This little tune also offers room for improvisation
from the students, where they could choose the high part first or second.
