10/2/10 Explaing Reflection

I thouroughly enjoyed writing this paper. It really is a topic that you can relate to and

express how to do something that you have a somewhat good deal of experience in. The

structure of the paper wasn’t too bad either, considering you just sort of start at the beginning

introducing a topic and follow along from there. It is however important to include an

explaination for the beginners and the more advanced. Tennis has been something that I have

enjoyed since I was very young. My family really likes tennis and I was just sort of brought up

playing and had a great time doing it. Although there were other sports I played as a youth,

tennis kind of stood out there as my favorite. T-ball, basketball, and a little bit of soccer were

other various sports I tried and tennis was the one that I took further and I actually got

relatively decent at it. I played in many tournaments and had a blast doing it. When you type an

explaining paper, you have to include aspects of your topic that you really wouldn’t assume to

be that important. Such as the differences in the scoring system for men and women while

playing tennis. These things can help the reader obtain a better understanding of the topic and

allow them to decide if maybe that is something they would like to pursue one day. A sport is

something that you can explain in detail, that is if you know and understand the details. But

then again, you wouldn’t be typing an explaining paper about a subject that you feel you are

not experienced in. Overall this paper was fun to write and allows the writer to see how much

they actually do know about a topic. It may seem normal to you but really it can be a lot of info.
