MARINE iPod EXTERNAL DOCK

MS-IPDOCKG, MS-IPDOCKW

The iPod External Dock connects to the MS-CD500 Marine Stereo Unit to provide the additional benefit of an integrated
housing for your iPod.

INSTALLATION GUIDELINES

BULKHEAD MOUNT
1) Open the front panel cover and feed the iPod External Dock
through the front cover, as shown in fig 1. Use the included
gasket if needed to ensure the front panel is fitted tightly
to the External Dock.

2) Attach the Dock to the bulkhead using the screws provided.

Mounting dimensions: 126mm x 40mm optional gasket


Mounting screw holes: 136mm x 48mm fig 2

WALL MOUNT
Attach the External Dock to a wall or shelf as illustrated in
fig 2, using the two screws provided. This mounting option is
suitable for interior installation where the external dock is not
exposed to the marine elements

The External Dock connects directly to the MS-CD500, via


the white iPod connector, as illustrated on page 8 of the
MS-CD500 product manual.

Mounting dimensions: 145mm x 121mm x 34mm


Mounting screw holes: 90mm

EXTERNAL DOCK SLEEVES


A different set of External Dock sleeves is used for each iPod model. The different Dock sleeve combinations are outlined in
the chart below:

Please note: For the iPod nano (3rd gen), the iPod must be placed inside the adaptor sleeve, and then placed inside Dock
sleeve combination A.

Please note: Place the sleeves inside the External Dock before inserting your iPod.
