Internship – Renewable E nergy and E nergy E fficiency

3 Months, January to M arch 2011

Duties
1. Research and system design of renewable energy systems i.e. solar PV, wind, bio-energy
2. Customer electric bill and energy analysis, energy audits
3. Electric utility analysis
4. Business development i.e. marketing, proposal writing, product management, etc.

Compensation
1. Compensation is BDS $10 per hour

Essential Requirements and Qualifications

1. Ability to follow instructions

2. Excellent written, verbal, telephone and Internet communication skills
3. Must demonstrate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word etc). A test will
be given at the interview
4. Overall computer and analytical skills are essential e.g. Excel spreadsheet computations
5. Bachelors degree or relevant tertiary, vocational and/or professional training
6. Preference for candidates with a driver’s license (but not essential for the job).

Hours and location

1. Generally between 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, with some flexibility
2. Registered offices of Clarke Energy Inc., “Claradon,” 1st Ave. Welchman Hall, St.
Thomas. This is a separate office annex to the home of the Clarke Family.
