Green Chemistry Project:

Help on putting together

 Read the spec and
summarise the ‘Range’
you have to cover i.e. type
of and how much content.
 Draw a rough plan, of
what you are going to
produce and how; include
chapter titles and sub-
titles.
 Look at the information
which is ‘close’ to you,
eg. Fronter, text books.
Use this info. to direct
your research in other
areas; i.e. internet.
 As you begin research,
start your Bibliography,
NOW.
 Include where you are going to go for information:
 Don’t just use the internet; more contemporary
sources would be journals, new scientist, news
sites, universities. Why not find someone to email
to get the most up to date work and research?

 Include timings; what are you going to finish and by

when?
 Be realistic about what you can achieve
 You must use detail and scientific facts, not just
waffle!!
 If you quote people or books in your project
you must reference their names:
 Jones, (1997) said…….
 Or ‘The Ozone layer has reduced in it’s coverage by 20% over the
last 20 years,’(Jones, 1997).

 Then put the full reference in the Bibliography:

 Smith, (2002). Green Industrial Chemistry, Oxford
University Press.
And use diagrams…….
