Corpus Christi Wind Art Company

Venturi Effect Fluid Turbine

Corpus Christi Wind Art Company/Southtech Data Systems are currently

conducting research and development of second generation wind turbine products
designed to operate efficiently in non-conventional wind resources.

Our goal is to introduce, the first American Wind Energy Association (AWEA)
certified Venturi Effect Fluid Turbine, to market by summer 2012. This new
technology is designed and optimized to operate within municipalities, in the wind
region of Midwest America, as an emergency power source and commercial energy
provider.

To achieve our goal, Corpus Christi Wind Art Company has developed
partnerships with TAMUCC, Clarkson University (Potsdam, NY), Texas Tech
University and JLM Technologies. This project has received support from the Space
Alliance Technology Outreach Program (SATOP) and is currently being reviewed
by the Department of Energy for a funding opportunity (DE-FOA 0000413).

Successful development and deployment of this new technology has the potential for
export to global wind markets, creating job growth in Texas and New York.
Municipalities in wind regions will be able to install distributed systems (community
wind projects) with potential power generation up to 100 megawatts. This will
allow these communities to reduce infrastructure costs1 associated with commercial
wind power and offer an energy incentive for global companies to locate in the US.
