1. Rule. Returnable forthwith. Heard finally by consent of

parties.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the Respondents states

that within a period of 24 hours from now the Respondents will serve on

the Petitioners a show cause notice indicating the programmes or portion

of programmes which according to the Respondents are objectionable and

which make the Petitioners liable for action against them, and the

Petitioners will be given 48 hours time to submit their reply to the show

cause notice before the Secretary, Ministry of Information &

Broadcasting, New Delhi. He further states that the person who submits

the reply on behalf of the Petitioners will also be granted an opportunity of

being heard in relation to the show cause notice and the reply and it is only

thereafter that an order would be made.

Statement accepted.

3. In our opinion, in view of this statement no orders are

necessary in this petition, save and except to say that till the Respondents

make a fresh order pursuant to the show cause notice that they propose to

give, interim order passed by this Court dated 18-11-2010 shall continue

to operate and in case the order is adverse to the interest of the Petitioners,

for a period of one day after the order is received by the Petitioners.
