    Adobe brushes files have a .abr extension and a logo. To install brushes, copy the .abr file to the Brushes folder located at Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop X\Presets\Brushes, where X is the Photoshop version number. Brushes created in Photoshop 7 or later will only work in Photoshop 7 or later versions.

    Adobe brushes has an extension name of .abr and has a logo like the one below.

    Now, paste the *.abr file/s into:

    Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop X\Presets\Brushes


    where X is the version number of the installed version of your Adobe Photoshop.

    * Brushes created in Photoshop 7 or later will not work in earlier versions of Photoshop. Any
    Photoshop brushes should work in Photoshop 7 and later.
