Guidelines

1] Assume you are a consultant hired by a B- School in collaboration with a corporate

company.

2] The objective given to you as a consultant is: ‘On the basis of primary and secondary
research, recommend a Structure for HR studies that would lead to ‘Day 1 Productivity’
for a B- School graduate joining the corporate world.

3] Actual B- Schools and corporate companies should be taken for the purpose of the
research. For the purpose of the competition, a corporate company means any company
employing at least 500 employees. A B- School means any institute offering MBA or an
equivalent program in India.

4] For the elimination round, the participants are expected to submit an actual or
recommended structure based on secondary data collection and analysis. This structure
should be supported with a live case study i.e. example of a corporate company or B
school which is successfully implementing it.

5) Teams selected for the finals are expected to submit a Research Report which should
be inclusive of:
• Research methodology
• Secondary and Primary data
• Method of Data collection
• Data Analysis
• Recommendations
