NATIONAL BANK FOR

AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT.

OBJECTIVE:-
1. The Bank will serve as a refinancing institution for institutional credit such

as long-term, short-term for the promotion of activities in the rural areas and
other allied economic activities in rural areas.
2. The Bank will serve as a refinancing institution for institutional credit such
as long-term, short-term for the promotion of activities in the rural areas.
3. The Bank will also provide direct lending to any institution as may approved
by the Central Government.
4. The Bank will have organic links with the Reserve Bank and maintain a
close link with in.

RATIONALE:-
1. It is very important to know about because NABARD play very important

role in development of rural and agriculture as india’s major income is from


the rural sector.
2. There fore what i m attempting to do is to provide my interpretation on
NABARD from which anyone can understand the role nabard is playing in
the progress of the rural sector.
3. And what policy schmes have been launch by NABARD for the agriculture
sector i.e farmers
HYPOTHESIS:-
1. As per view, when anyone make mistake it learn a lot from that mistakes

similarly when NABARD made mistake they have implement more schemes
for the farmers and which help them to compete with foriegn market .
2. I assume that due to NABARD our country has improve and thus farmers
are also having worth of their efforts .

This project report is output of my personal research and all the information
contained herein is correct to the best of my knowledge. I believe that any one at
time of reading the reader will gain knowledge about Nabard mission objectives
and what functions they carry and from their funds how the rural people has gain
benefits .
